What it's like
Poa is the most useful native grass we grow. It forms a soft blue-grey dome that catches light and moves in the slightest breeze, and planted in drifts of thirty or more it turns a bank or a verge into something that reads as landscape rather than lawn. Drought-hardy once established and very cold-tolerant.
Getting it established
Cut back hard every second winter to keep it fresh. It comes away again in weeks.
Potted stock travels upright in a purpose-built carton with the rootball wrapped. Bare-root trees are lifted the week they ship, roots packed in damp shavings. Either way, get it in the ground within a week of arrival.
You've got twelve months. If it was planted the way we suggested and it hasn't come away, send us a photo and we'll replace it on the next run.
Ten or more of one line gets trade pricing without an account. Tell us the site and we'll check the spacing with you before you order.
